Member Outreach

This Team creates a welcoming and inviting environment of love that encourages guests to transition into members. As we work as extensions of our Pastors, we strive to foster an environment of love and unity while ministering to the people’s needs with love, care, and respect (Ephesians 4:1-4 NLT). We purpose ourselves to serve each visitor and member and help them grow in their Christian faith (Matthew 18:12-14) where they can use their God-given gifts and talents as they are plugged into an auxiliary that will help them grow spiritually.

The purpose of this ministry is to serve as an extension of our Pastors as a support to our visitors and members. We strive to ensure that everyone can receive an unhindered, undistracted Word and that service flows smoothly. We also strive to assist visitors and members in becoming a vital part of the congregation’s total ministry by ensuring that each person feels welcome, knows where to go, can get information about services and opportunities, and is able to reach someone if they have follow-up questions after the service. By ministering to everyone’s needs we strive to assist visitors in their transition to membership and getting those members plugged into an auxiliary that can utilize and further develop their strengths and passions. The Member Outreach Team maintains members connection to the ministry by facilitating the assimilation of new members and keeping God’s vision for Faith Life before them.

Pastoral Care

Our mission is to be the physical expression of Jesus’ love to our guests “joiners,” active members, and inactive members (on a case-by-case basis), by serving them through greeting, prayer, phone ministry, and hospital visitation, grief counseling and visitation, ministering God’s love, and healing care with a spirit of excellence so that none will be lost.

Whether you need counseling, clergy services (baby dedications, baptisms, weddings, and home goings), prayer, or other care services such as hospital visits, bereavement, or benevolence, our Pastoral Care Team is here to serve you.

They will listen with an ear to understand, pray in agreement with your faith, serve in times of celebration and times of concern, and direct you to God and the application of His Word for your situation.

Praise & Worship

The Worship Team is made up of individuals who understand the power and purpose of Praise and Worship. They have a desire to usher in the Presence of God and expect to see God’s Glory, and power revealed in every service through songs.

Cafe/Resource Center

Café is an extension of love, providing food and beverage to help sustain and replenish staff and members of FLIC. (Galatians 5:13) We purpose to greet each customer with the love of Jesus and a welcoming smile, ensuring that their nutritional natural needs are met prior to and following service. We purpose to serve as we are serving unto God and to operate in excellence therein. (Colossians 3:23-24)

The Resource Center is available before and after service. For what goes into the mind comes out in life. We strive to do this by being the number one Christian resource of FLIC CD series, DVD’s, books, bibles, and other related gift items for all members and visitors for their daily Christian walk. For “Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”. – Romans 10:17

Media

At the heart of our ministry is a great group of people who strive to enhance the worship experience through audio, video and lighting while allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us. Through the many technical areas included in the umbrella of the media ministry we strive to go beyond the physical walls of our church by way of broadcasts to invite others to learn about God’s love by providing the resource that will enable them to develop a deeper walk with Him. 

They carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our visually driven, ever-changing world using technology. This ministry not only provides the technical support required for our worship services, but also records various events, teachings, and sermons. They work behind the scenes to make it possible to share the message to the church through amplified sound, recordings, presentations, and other forms of communication. We visually promote and give life to our Pastors’ God-given vision.

Marketing

The Marketing Team exists to promote the Kingdom, the Word, and our ministry creatively through print, online, and with the latest technology. They use marketing and communications to educate, and engage our members, visitors, and potential visitors. They visually promote and give life to our Pastors’ God-given vision.

The Marketing Team endeavor to be the bridge that connects our members, visitors, and community to Faith Life’s God-given vision and mission. To consistently create in a personable and creative way that those who see, hear, and experience our work can understand and can appreciate.

Facilities

The Facilities Team is a part of the “Helps Ministry”. They touch and help all the other auxiliary teams by maintaining a clean, safe, pleasant environment for services, meetings, work, and fellowships conducted here.  They support the other teams by making sure furnishings are in place for specific activities and cleaning up following those activities.  They keep the grounds and parking lot picked up and work with landscapers to maintain the foliage.  They follow the Pastor’s vision regarding utilization of the building space and keeping Faith Life aesthetically updated with excellence.
